DGUI Don’t Give Up. Don’t Give In.
METHODS

Methodologies + philosophies that unlock mental prowess.

This is not therapy. It’s a toolkit: attention training, systems thinking, identity reinforcement, boundary discipline, and meaning-making philosophies. Pick one method family and practice until it produces evidence.

METHOD FAMILY

Attention Discipline

Your attention is your life. Train it like a weapon and a shield.

Drills: - 10-minute single-task block (one tab, one tool) - “Return rule”: drift → stand → one breath → return - Input quarantine: 30 minutes of no feed/no news Evidence: - minutes of focused work - fewer impulsive switches - one task completed
METHOD FAMILY

Systems & Friction

Motivation is unreliable. Systems are repeatable.

Moves: - Friction Audit (remove barriers) - Minimum viable finish (today) - Pre-commit: time + place + tool - Environment design (make the good thing easier) Evidence: - more completions - less negotiation - predictable routines
METHOD FAMILY

Identity Engineering

You become what you repeatedly prove.

Protocols: - Identity Claim (“I am the kind of person who…”) - Proof action (tiny but real) - Recovery rule (what you do when you slip) Evidence: - consistency - self-trust - fewer “restart” cycles
METHOD FAMILY

Boundaries & Communication

Many minds collapse because they never defend their time, attention, or values.

Boundary script (simple): - “I can’t do that.” - “I can do X.” - “If you need Y, it will be after Z.” Rules: - Delay response when emotional - Choose clean exits over messy fights - Reduce exposure to chronic disrespect Evidence: - less resentment - clearer relationships - calmer nervous system (non-clinical)
PHILOSOPHY STACK

Meaning-making without delusion

Philosophy is a lens. Use lenses that produce strength, clarity, and compassion—not excuses.

Influences (non-exclusive): - Stoic discipline (control the controllable) - Buddhist observation (watch cravings without obeying) - Existential responsibility (choose meaning through action) - Systems thinking (feedback loops + constraints) - Cognitive science basics (attention, habit, reinforcement) Evidence: - fewer catastrophes - more deliberate choices - calmer sense-making
THE PRACTICE

How to practice without becoming weird

“Deity mode” in DGUI is not worship and not fantasy. It’s a deliberate mental stance: posture, voice, boundary, action. You do it to stop begging your mind for permission.

STANCE

Body as a lever

Posture changes perception. Movement breaks loops. This is physiology as a tool—not a diagnosis.

WORDS

Language as a command

Short phrases are anchors: “Return.” “One proof action.” “No negotiation.”

EVIDENCE

Action seals the stance

Without proof, it’s cosplay. With proof, it becomes identity.

Pick one family.

Don’t collect tools like souvenirs. Choose one method family and run it for 7 days. If it produces evidence, keep it. If not, simplify or swap.
